    With the quality hes got no question he could but i dont think there would be any need to play him up top. His favoured postions are the left wing or playing in the hole.

    I reckon Steeeeeeeve could put in a shift at Inside Forward too, doesn't have to be stuck on the flanks.

    Totally agree playing against tougher sides that could well work however i also believe Guly could play in that role perhaps this could work

    Cork Hammond Chaplow/Schneiderlin

    Guly Lallana
    Lambert

    this keeps the midfield narrow like adkins likes but gives us more options between the lies and would allow lallana and guly to roam more and could drag the opposition players out of position leaving space for the midfield 3 and Lambert.

    He could be the answear to our apparent striker need? Chappers is more then capable of covering for him.
