Competition - Euro 2024, Play-Off Semi-Final, Path A
Venue - Cardiff City Stadium
Date - 21 March 2024
Kick off - 19:45

Wales host Finland on Thursday night in a Euro 24 Play-Off semi-final as they look to take a big step towards qualifying for this summer’s tournament.

Rob Page’s side are two wins away from booking their place in Germany and have home advantage on their side.

These play-off matches are one-leg knockout ties, with extra-time and penalties to decide it on the night if required.

Should Wales beat Finland, they will face either Poland or Estonia in Cardiff next week, when a spot at the Euros would be on the line.

Wales came third in their qualifying group behind Turkey and Croatia, while Finland finished four points off Denmark and Slovenia.

Whoever comes through Path A will go into Group D at the Euros this summer, facing the daunting challenge of going up against France, Netherlands and Austria.

I’m going for a 2-1 home win, with more ‘stress’ to come in next week’s Play-Off Final for Wales’ supporters.

(The game will be broadcast (Welsh) on S4C.

The BBC iPlayer will also offer a free live stream service.

Viaplay subscribers can access the game via their website and app.)

COME ON WALES !!!
I’m gonna miss the game as I think I will be somewhere over Turkish airspace when the game kicks off on my way to the Philippines.
I’ll get text updates whenever there’s WiFi in the sky.
I think we can beat Finland - nothing to fear. I just hope we go for it from minute 1.
