Just thinking about that myself. I think there's only 1 concert this year. Springsteen innit?

Which destroys their argument, yet they can't see it ...

... not everything about the club is bad.

On RTG, earlier, there was a thread so bitter it made your toes curl,

'The SOL is an absolute shiithole, etc.'

The QPR fans, on the train back to Newcastle, thought it was fantastic ... if a little quiet.

Don't we have some rugby being played at the SoL around August also?

    Edit - Rugby is 2025

Springsteen is early as well, so makes sense as I imagine it will take a good couple of months.

Hope the club do some progress updates on it over the summer

That's what annoys me the most about them. If they had someone on with an alternate opinion to themselves and had an honest open debate about it would make for an interesting listen. Instead it's just a group of lads whinging with no real substance to it and stamping their feet like toddlers insisting they're right.

Be worrying if we have taken a loan with sharks like MSD mind. I cant see any logic in that route at all. Even if it is a bridging loan whilst a sale goes through, or a player sale happens, you wouldnt go down that route when you could do it as a directors loan. I am therefore choosing not to believe this one, in its noted form anyway.

Maybe the club shouldn't have been so open by telling the players their contracts wouldn't be renewed at the end of the season, allowing them to sort their future out before being finished with no warning, just to keep them on the training pitch for the experience.
It's been mentioned they were kicked out the club ( not by you ) however that is bollocks, they chose to leave with a year left on their contract. That however came about because the club were honest with them.
What the club did wrong was not bring the experience in to help the new signings development.
I can't see the point of keeping experienced players that won't get a game , that's not helping anyone.
I've said before the club have got enough wrong this season for us all to have a moan, but comments about throwing players out the club which are pure bollocks doesn't help

Ex-players and ex-players will always moan, always have ...

... some, from the 70's, are still scraping a living on the 'talk in circuit' moaning about what went on.

Bruce spent years whining about Sunderland after he left, every fiicking chance he got.

Some, who hang around on the fringes, are taking in by it all on the strength of a free pint or a complimentary ticket.

Most ex players are spot on in my experience. Not sure why you think they moan, in the main they loved their career and love to reminisce. The ones I see anyway.

I have a very good friend, on another forum, who'd have most likely told me if things were changing.

He hasn't so I don't believe we've asked for a loan, that the club is being punted or that Sartori is buying another club.

These rumours are becoming ridiculous imo.

Just seen a post on another forum, the bloke who broke the rumour that beale was going the day before he was sacked or walked has now said he heard that KLD has put the club up for sale. I'm not in the know but just search and read forums so don't know if true or not

I definitely know nowt me, find all snippets just searching forums and news outlets. Some I realize straight away that it's bull. That's why I like it on here as it's none of the hatred of the sorts you get on other forums

I’m a bit less sure than I was that KLD will definitely be here, only because of things being quiet combined with rumours but ultimately know nowt. What I will say is that I’m certain that new owners like new managers guarantee nothing. We seem addicted to baying for blood but it never seems to bring what we’re after. That’s because stable sustainable growth is what we’re all after and yet we demand the opposite. They haven’t done well this year but it doesn’t mean another lot won’t do worse next year.

I'd be absolutely sickened if KLD goes.

He's been an absolute transformation and much better than Short, the two clowns, Murray, etc.

Lots of supporters have thought new owners would be the grass that's greener on the other side ...

... the Mags greeted Ashley like a toon top wearing, broon guzzling Messiah <laugh>

Like I say it’s who comes next. I wouldn’t care about KLD if the next one was better but there are a lot of risks out there and a KLD who learns from mistakes would be my favoured option. Mind this is the most pissed off I’ve been I have to say. Turning up for games watching our lack of forwards is griping at me the more I go, but that could be put right in three months so I’m trying not to piss the bed.

If it's £30 million you are looking at borrowing at 100% ish of turnover. That's when personal guarantees and security on disposable assets come into the mix.

Let's say £30 million secures against the stadium and academy. Both of which value wise is the land they are on.

Yeah people can say but sell Clarke etc... Fair enough £20 million. If he breaks his leg then value becomes negligible
