We paid 45 million for a player with a serious knee injury and 64 for a striker that's made of thin air. Netos injury issues might be the reason he ends up at Newcastle and not one of the big clubs.
Liveramento's injury was a real nasty one but a one off. That "thin air" has scored 21 goals in 42 appearances (including subs) out of a possible 66. Neto's is the same reoccurring hamstring problem constantly from what I was reading.
The thin air I'm referring to his physical issues mate. He's made of bolsa wood at best so I go the extra mile and say thin air.
I think we have to, sadly. So important for any team to sell for big bucks. Villa - Grealish. Liverpool - Coutinho. I've been expecting it for ages. He'll be immense for City or PSG.
old but understandable news. a conspiracy theorist might even suggest that one Arab country is wanting to help funnel money into another knowing it’s in the **** anyhow… if we get a player or two as part of the deal there is deffo something suss happening.
Funny how this comes out in the press just days before we play them in the cup, despite being nowhere near the summer transfer window yet. Probably just some intentional media play to get into his head before the match.
He's too good to waste his career playing with longstaff Murphy and Burn. If he goes I don't blame him and there's plenty of our fans have been after him when he has the odd struggle playing with the idiots in our team... Good luck to him he's ahead of where our club is. This will free up money to buy Phillips and solanke and maybe throw in Maguire.... I'm joking but deep down I wouldnt be surprised.
Ultimately Newcastle are food for the big clubs, so we should never even bother caring about players. The only ones we'll still get to keep are the ones we don't even want, so maybe you're right maybe it's all about hoping Longstaff isn't **** one day.
I dont think anyone thinks that's necessary mate this game is an annihilation and Guardiola will once again be hugging Guimareas and whispering in his ear.
I'd rather sell him to Madrid just to avoid the media **** fest and belittling of nufc. I sense we're heading in to a very challenging few years... the struggle before we rise.
They've got Emery aswel and stopped the small time mentality. The thing is I'm not convinced this lot will spend the money well. It's only my opinion, but this idea what's missing is a dm that puts himself about is all wrong. You can't even do that anymore because you get yellow cards for nothing... it's pace, guile and agility Newcastle lack, yet in January Howe had his heart set on Calvin Phillips. The last thing Newcastle need is any more good attitudes.. they need some good footballers.
Sounds like we can forget anything exciting in the summer window. No money unless we sell much like January my the sound of it. I suspect the next 2 or 3 seasons will be much the same as this before they try to push forward again... ffp has got Newcastle by the balls it's really very simple.
