The fact that Dougie Freedman was trying to sign Derry and Hill this season says it all. Never was the old saying truer than 'He who laughs last laughs loudest'...<laugh>
 
Very entertaining read. Still think that Derry will play 10 or more games for us this year. Great to see him getting his chance to play in the Prem.
 
It actually made me appreciative of the fact that on the old 606 you could glance quickly through a lot of comments without getting RSI by scrolling through all the blank space and embedded graphics you get on here. Glad I didn't contribute to that thread at the time however.

So that's every signing we've made apart from Kenny , where fans from the selling club have come on here laughing. Who's right , please let it be Warnock.
 
I didn't realise the old threads from there were still viewable!

Some funny posts on that thread about their saviour George Burly, plus a vignette from Camp Freddy plus some vintage Ellers giving it both barrels to Palace!!
 
Hmmm. Doesn't seem to be many Palace on not606 - their boards are infested with Millwall threads - with our old mate Lovely Geezer steaming in from the front.
 
Good post from @Jackson, who predicted exactly what Derry would do;
"Derry was our Captan last season and was a great leader for us during his stint as captain. As a player you can be assured you will get 110% from him every game and wheres his heart on his sleave. A great servant to Palace and for that I will always respect the man and clap him when he returns to Selhurst next season.

He is not the most gifted ever and has slowed down over the last year. He is not going to be the star of your side, however he may be a useful addition to your squad. You know what you get with Derry
