After the game yesterday Marti said quite rightly that we don't know how many points we may need as it seems like other team around us are starting to pick up as well like Millwall who seemed to have stopped their slide.

But, let's have a go.

We have 11 games left, I think we will need to win at least 5 and the remaining home matches are going to be critical and we have a couple of 6 pointers.

There is certainly momentum with the team right now and belief seems to building in the players and their feeling for the coach.
As we know those around us seem to be building some momentum too. The form table tells us that Rotherham are down. Others on a slump are Plymouth and Brum, but to be honest there’s a host of mid-table teams close to hitting their slump too (‘boro, Watford, Bristol). It will be a high points tally to safety I’m sure.
I’d be happy to see us hit 52/53 pts - so 14/15pts more. Leicester was a real bonus 3pts. So we could do it.
Going to be interesting seeing what happens with the 10 or so teams around us - it’s tight, very tight.

6 weeks ago, March fixtures looked awful and points hard to come by… what a difference in the mentality of the team and yesterday def feels like a bonus 3 points…
Dare to dream we are safe after Easter
URssssss

Correct, with Ainsworth, we looked doomed with no idea where the points were coming from.

Well done to the club management for having the balls to act and get Marti.

Now the world seems much flatter & manageable.

It really is fascinating, Blackburn have dropped right back in it. A few weeks ago we'd have all had Plymouth as being more or less safe. Middlesbrough might be looking over their shoulders but have the benefit of points on the board. Just glad there's genuinely so many in the mix now.

Would be nice if another team joined Rotherham in the basement but at the current time all teams around us are fighting for their survival, luckily we have the better GD. On our current form I predict 53 points for us.
