My worry is not LM's tactics.

It's that he reminds me of 'grey' John Major.

He looked broken tonight.

We should have given money to Nige. JL & BT tried to be clever. That’s water under the bridge now though. JL isn’t a chairman and BT isn’t a CEO, or whatever he’s called now. Get rid of those two and bring in proper people to take the roles, then allow the new guys to choose their own manager.,it won’t happen though and that’s what worries me.

I’m hoping we have enough to stay in this division, allow LM to bring some players he wants in come the summer.. give him a good dozen games to prove if he’s got what it takes to push us forward..
I worry he won’t be allowed by either board or discontented fans..
Remember, by in large this is a Nige team

Mostly managers take over when a team is struggling, they always take on the previous managers team, manning took over when we weren’t doing that badly, I’m sorry if he can’t improve us with the same players why does he deserve the chance to spend?. He’s out of his depth, simple .

Totally agree with you
But while Mr Smug holds the reins it simply won’t happen. It’s jobs for the boys !

I’m glad more and more people on this forum who were previously blinkered and who thought Lansdown could do no wrong despite his appalling mis-management of the football side of things over the decades are finally seeing him and his son for what they are

Yep, I’ve been saying for quite a while now that Steve L is the issue. Yes, he has done a lot for the club, no doubt about that, but has he gone as far as he can? The answer is a firm yes from me.

Yes but overall the team wasn’t working for when Nige was here..
In my mind, I think LM has a style of play he wants to implement, but is unable with the players we have..
We were in dire when Nige took over from DH and was allowed time to sort it.. ( I think he should have been allowed more by the way)..
I think Liam deserves more than just a few months.. just remember after the first couple of games under Nige, we we’re dreadful

Are the players crap, are we simply unlucky, or is Liam managing good players badly?

Simple question really

I can’t think of any other possibility than the above 3.

Players are decent but not all that good for all this Mannings attempting. walk before you run and hes trying to run. Gone in deep up to the elbow thinking players are better than they are and thinking they will be able follow whats hes coaching or what Mannings being told to do by Tinnion .

Reading another thread on our forum, our academy’s not exactly thriving either.. 2nd from bottom in their league.
Hence the reason why the bench was low in numbers.. Seems like Nige was lucky in that department..
What the bloody hell is going on at this club??

same players with far more injuries were 2 points of playoffs that is no excuse one for.

we have JL and BT that are in cuckoo land and a manager they choose who is not good enough.
There are the problems.

So guys what do we do when we lose Tuesday night and at home to Swanseas-we could be bottom three.

stick or twist
No point in twisting as it will be another new manager (maybe a lot worse) BUT with the same players......
Get through this season and allow LM to bring in the type of players he wants

But we were still sh!t I watched every game home and away.......most of it was dreadful in all honesty....even you was saying we need a decent striker as a minimum.......I liked Nige.....but he wasn't what you say he was....nowhere near, especially with the amount of experience he had under his belt......we also struggled defensivly under Nige......which was unforgiving being that should have been his forte......Rose tint comes to mind!

Games are starting to run out and just as well given our form and the upcoming fixtures
Luckily our goal difference is far superior to everyone who is below us
Teams might well need 53 or 54 points to be safe this season so we’ve still got work to do
But I despair of the way our club is run
