I'm not a big fan of landlords in general, but I think we've all got a soft spot for Bath City and fond memories of Twerton.

I think they've definitely got a shout tonight in the FA Cup replay, and I reckon they'll beat Daggers by the odd goal.

I'll be watching!

Come on Bath!

I hope Scotty scores a goal for a Bath City win and good luck to Joe Burnell and Alex Russel.......

As I said.......<ok>

Wize, If Steve was truely still interested he would still be Chairman.

Your club is no longer being backed by Pantdowns money and you have to stand on your own two feet. You are over 12 million in debt and have to tackle this without his money as he will no longer keep bailing you out. Your current board have to stand up and make sure they run the club properly. This brings into doubt that if you sale NM how much would be invested in new players or would it be prudent in this finacial climate to reduce the 12 million. I believe they will make do with what you have as it hard enough now to pay the likes of Calamity on current attendances. A good run of results may add to the coffers but will only help balance the books not give you a cash injection.

I do however believe that if you were ever seriously in trouble he would help and i'm sure he would like to invest in your new ground (if it ever happens) but he is no fool and will not keep bailing you out. Your club needs to stop believing it has a Russian billionaire with money to burn.

I know it will hurt Wize but is there not truth in my statement.<ok>

By going into more debt.

Sorry Clit, i havent read anywhere that he is willing to finance your yearly debt. If this is case why hasn't he paid off your 12 million, why is he allowing you to pay interest on the debt.

Sorry if the fool bit upset you my friend i meant idiot<laugh>

Clit i understand it is compfort to know that he wouldn't let you end up in the 1982 situation again and fair play to him for that.

He now lives on an island, to avoid paying his taxes and i do understand that. But if his real love was still BCFC he would still be Chairman. You have to face facts he will not see you go under be he isn't giving you a war chest to do what you want with, he has already tried that and it didn't work. He enjoyed it while it lasted and because he left the position with debt he is willing to underpin it as his duty to the club and again fair play to him for that. What he is not doing is giving you bundles of cash to do what you want. What he wants is you to stand on your own two feet, be prudent with finances, improve attendances with good football to ballance the books on your overpaid existing team.

I am not just trying to pull your chain as i know my club has been badly run, i just want you sheds to understand you do not have a russion billionaire to keep bailing you out. Steve is gone and will only come out in dire emergency.<ok>

Your club's ownership is structured like this http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/page/companydetails/0,,10328,00.html.......

......but you don't own your stadium,it's rented off of The Memorial Stadium, which is stuctured like this....http://companycheck.co.uk/company/03536554....

I would worry more about your own £5m plus debt and rising, when you rent not own your own stadium and chase Mr Dunford.......

Wize, have i pinched a nerve here.

I understand my Clubs finance and can live with it.

I am just making the point that you do not have Mr Lansdown ploughing in millions to BCFC. During his Chairmanship the club accumilated debt to which he is responsible and he is an honourable man that is helping to sevice that debt and i applaud that.

My point is that he wants you to stand on your own two feet as a club and will not service a debt created by your current board. <ok>
