Can't believe that, and the winner too, so much for helping us out, guess he had to get lucky once in a while!
“Bristol City boss Liam Manning: ‘It's nice to share the goals around. We carry such a threat from set-pieces.’ " Set pieces!! Oh ****.
"It came in the 77th minute after good work by Juninho Bacuna, with Rovers failing to clear before Queens Park Rangers loan man Andre Dozzell coolly slotted home from 12 yards." (BBC) A goal's a goal though!
Can’t believe Wet Spam fans calling for Moyes head. He has saved them a million times and been punching above their weight. They deserve what they get.
You could say careful what you wish for. But also I kind of get it. They’ve got some talented players but play dull football mainly even against the poorer sides hoping Bowen or Kudus will do something great on the break. Without Paqueta they don’t seem to create a lot and he seems to have been out for some time. The Arsenal game the other day was appalling and sounds like today was similar. Then again hard to say what should be considered success there. You’d think mid-table is ok. It’s more about the style of play than the actual results.
Plymouth and Blackburn both playing their game in hand on us tonight. Despite already being 5 points ahead of us, could do with that remaining as is just to keep the pool of possible relegation candidates as big as possible. If they can get to 40 points tonight with a win, it would feel like they have one foot through the door to safety. On the other hand, could well do with a big win by Ipswich over Rothers tonight - just to put another nail in their coffin and keep their confidence down. Imagine what a win/draw would do for them - as if Saturday isn't already going to be hard enough for us already!! I know it's not about the others - it's what we do that counts - but imagine if Millwall hadn't been so bad recently - we'd still be far adrift. Need these teams around us to lose/drop points if possible.
