But we can't afford to sit and wait for his sharpness/form to come in the position we're in, especially if we have a player who gives more who could start in his place
Ohio seemed an odd signing to me, meaning an unproven young 20/21 year old when we needed a CF to help a promotion push. Unless there is a chance of signing him permanently. But tbf I think he's looked quite promising so far. I simply don't get the derogatory comments.
I don't either, he's very raw and I really think he's just being a tad to enthusiastic at times, which isn't helping him.... But a certain other young unproven CF who came to us in the champ and really helped with promotion was exactly the same
I'd be interested to see a selection of posts that have been 'derogatory' about Ohio, as I'm guessing GFAW is going to claim he wasn't talking about me.
Not if the general point is that it could go either way yet. We simply don't know either way. But it is relevant that he's done what sharp hasn't, having been given a fair bit more opportunity.
Not entirely but you get my point that he may need a little time to get used to the physicality of the Championship?
FFS, it was a comment in relation to gwfaw and ehabs member. He's played very little, but scored and shown glimpses - but there's nothing like enough game time or even time with the squad to make a judgment either way yet. I apologise, I had no idea that was so controversial... Jeez!
That's an odd reaction, I was merely saying that claiming he's shown more than Sharp is entirely expected. No need to be so reactive.
Says he who mocked a post suggesting his goals per minutes is better than anyone else's just now. Then immediately got on the defensive about derogatory posts that weren't ever referring to you. If only you could see yourself sometimes...
Mocked? What on earth are you on about? As I've said, I'm happy for someone to quote said derogatory posts since (as I already acknowledged) I'm sure the post wasn't referring to me.
Coming in with laughing emojis and saying something's nonsensical (despite being factual) after not being part of the preceding convo does set a kina mocking tone, yes. But calling him a donkey after a first **** touch was fairly derogatory to be fair
