"Sometimes when it comes to transfers, you can overstate how much one person is responsible for making those signings, so I don't know if Dan Ashworth was responsible for signing Moises Caicedo at Brighton for £4.5m, Kaoru Mitoma for £2.5m and Alexis MacAllister for around £6m.
"At Newcastle, Bruno Guimaraes, Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon - they've made some really good signings. I'm not saying that's all down to Dan Ashworth, but he has been the man in charge, he's been the sporting director.
Not looking good bruh![]()
Let’s hope he isn’t on the market at the end of the season eh ?Dick of a manager.
I believe we will settle for 20 million.
Newcastle can’t have nice things. I like the part about how that for £10m they got Carl Court
Carl Cort, who happened to be a player. And it was years back, not now, so it would have been way more now.
But, just the same like.
That fat sweaty Faily Mail **** can shove his ridiculous £60 million up his arse, that's just utter nonensense spouted by a shock jock type tabloid journo looking for attention.
I believe the truth is that it's in the haggling stage... Newcastle can put him on Garden leave until 2026... this means Man United have to pay compensation and Newcastle are digging their heels in at 20 million plus.
I'm sure a settlement will be reached, but this isn't the old Newcastle.
well he has a great transfer track record at Newcastle![]()
Not sure he has the 1st two windows he had no involvement in identifying targets, but he has been involved in Gordon who's been a brilliant signing... Livramento looks good aswel.
Hopefully Man United are pleased with links to Webster and Billing.
He's obviously highly rated, but unfortunately he's not been at Newcastle long enough.
sure it won’t cause any distraction, especially if U tied decide to not pay a compensation package for him. Will ensure he is focused going forward.
Well it's not ideal really is it ? Someone that knows everything about our players contracts, finances and plans going elsewhere.
I'm hoping Newcastle finally show a set of balls and just pay his wages until 2026 tbh. Get him a lawnmower as a bonus.
not sure that United will be interested in knowing how long Matt Richie has left on his deal and what his next contract offer will be.
I absolutely agree, but we do have some very good players.... this is the thing with have a thin layer of good players and the same crap underneath it that we had in the championship.
If Newcastle had any targets for this Summer and were hoping to catch a fish others weren't that's not over aswel.
