A proven goal scorer with Huddersfield and Albion in the Championship and before that Charlton in League One. Me thinks he has been loaned out to the wrong club, as many players coming to Cardiff find out. Having paid £15m for him and two years left on his contract the Baggies would be extremely fortunate to recoup any serious money for him and I see another loan move next season. Should City take him on again? I don't think so.

Grant is a striker who should play up front. Bowler plays in Grant`s position. The manager might play Grant up front in future. Meanwhile Ugbo has scored 3 in 4 games for Sheffield and scored 3 in our first 5 games, that is 6 goals in 9 games giving a score of of 30 goals a season at that rate. Everyone wanted rid of this goalscorer and the goals have been hard to come by since..

Arguably he's been one of our brighter forward players this season but he hasn't really shown enough end product often enough for my liking.

Definitely don't see us going in for him unless they terminate his contract or are happy to take a really big hit on what they paid for him.

While ignoring the usual bollix from the usual suspect, Grant needs to be played through to use his pace. Other than Ramsey or Turnbull once settled we haven't had the players with that skill set.

As it stands, Grant, and any other player of ability won't see coming to us as a viable option in the summer.

The return of Russell Slade? Heaven forbid!!!

Not sure how Erol is allowed to spend £2M on a player, play him one game each in two different positions, then bench him.
To me, it has to be a 6 along side Turnbull as the 8 with Ramsey or Colwill as the 10.

It's what sets the top players apart. Attitude as much as ability.

I was listening to them talking about the Liverpool kids the other night.
They have strict rules about behaviour and attitude.
Accademy players not allowed to have a car over 1.3 litres. Though one of the lads playing was only 16 so didn't have a license anyway.

Keeping them grounded, keeping them hungry.
    A good approach.

Tanner a bit older, but a bit of grounding doesn't go amis at any time.

I'm not surprised. The perma tan and half mast socks creates something of an image.

He needs to back it up on the field, in training and in his relationship with his team mates and management. He has not done that on the field at least since the first few weeks of the season.

Compare him to Rubin Colwill who is working hard to keep his place and is spoken well of by his colleagues.

I think Tanner has another 9 weeks to buck his ideas up or he could be looking for another club.

He is not a kid. He is 20, can vote, drive a car, drink, smoke (if he choses). About time he started behaving like an adult.

    I think he's blown it.

Inflated out of all proportion by his outgoing manager at Lewes, I think he started to believe he was a world beater.

Taken down a peg will do him no harm but he'll need a massive swing in his attitude in training and in the dressing room to stay.

I also don't like those half-mast socks. I thought the socks were a conditional part of a club's visible kit - what happened to that?

To do with shin pad safety I think. I believe, but not sure, that the half cock, sorry, mast socks have shin pads built in.

My point was that "normal" football socks to the knee and their colour were an essential part of a clubs identity on the pitch.

You can go back over any club's historic kits and they all show sock colours as part of their identity.

I’ve no interest in this and frankly I’m surprised this made the press. This should be kept in the dressing room.

There was murder when Morrison went public on Davies and Watters, just shows how fickle some can be. I personally would prefer a player with a bit of attitude than be placid yes men.,
