Re- Allsop getting some stick on here. I'm a bit on the fence - he makes some great saves, but he has a mistake in him. That said, we don't know if Pandur is any better.
To give a bit of a wider context (and this does not excuse the errors Allsop has made) he seems to be an average championship keeper in as much as the mistakes he makes - or similar ones - are also being made by other keepers.
2 examples from yesterday - one from our game and one from the B'ham v Sunlan game, which I saw the goals from on EFL last night. For Greaves' 1st goal, their keeper seemed to get a strong hand to the ball, but it still went in. I reckon he will feel he should have saved that - and I'd be surprised if Hudders fans didn't think so.
In the Birmingham game - for their winner, surely the Sunlan keeper has to be brave and go down where the boots are flying? Instead he turns his head away from the ball and it goes in.

I think this is very fair, he’s a bang average Championship keeper, he does some great stuff but also makes some poor errors.

He seems to be this year’s polarising player, one group will criticise everything he does, often going too far and the opposite group will praise him beyond his actual level of performance and ignore the mistakes.

Yep,he's somewhere in between but don't let that stand in the way of the petty argument some continue to roll out about it on a daily basis...

Some of whom wouldn't know what the inside of a Football Stadium looks like:emoticon-0148-yes:

Certainly fair enough, although those in the positive camp have criticised when it's been due, such as the goal last night, or his performance against Swansea the first time around which was particularly poor for instance. Most of us can just see beyond those instances to the value he brings not just with some good saves but his passing. I'm a bit surprised Pandur hasn't had a look in up until this point but perhaps LR sees each game as so vital that risking bedding in a new keeper is a bit too much, although perhaps that 20 day break in March will give Pandur a proper chance to work his way into thinking.

You’re taking a pop at Allsop on a match day thread, in a match you didn’t see?

He’s getting a decent amount of MotM votes, as he did in the last game, when you also took a pop.

Allsop’s been great for us this season and deserves credit for the job he’s doing.

Nope, I just responded to a poster saying his positioning is very good, which it isn't.... I think you'll find I was praising him for his distribution and also that he's been improving and long may it continue.

But let's not let what I actually said get in the way of you being you

For me Ohio had a better touch than Oscar or no worse - he just didn’t use his build enough and stopped chasing - he needs to put a 90 minute shift into a 25 minute subs period otherwise Allsopp will be forgotten or Ohio will wish he lived there !

Just remind this sour faced loser they had two Sodjes playing for them not so long back. Two of the most cynical 'footballers' I have seen for a long time #stuartelliotoutformonths.

TT, you may remember even further back when Ellam and Cherry used to kick lumps out of Chris Chilton. Shame they didn't get what Forbes got that day at Norwich.

A player runs to create an overlap and another players moves into space towards the ball when we're (finally) attacking and some think that's #nextlevel?! Crickey me.

No not totally, it’s just not many at Champ level do it - but should , OR am I blind and not seen us do it before and others do - just saying
