Close to signing Aluko, thoughts?

Personally I wanted to move for him a couple of years ago always thought he was the only thing about Aberdeen i could stand (not exactly unusual) and if you ask me kept them from being relegated with his performances as well as a decent performance against Bayern in the UEFA Cup.

Compensation wise I'm not to fussed what we pay Aberdeen if they ask us for £180k then i reckon its probably worth the hassle to just pay them and get him playing this weekend <ok>
 
James Beattie enough said , how much did he cost you overall , wages , early release from contract.??? As for Aluko why did no lower English league team come in for him ?? Why has he not had a club this season ???

Because ever since he was a boy, he has only ever wanted to play for Rangers.

Thats why Juventus gave him a trial and was offered a contract by big spending Leicester City <doh> more clubs have wanted him than wanted Mr Zenden.

10 Goals in 102 games for probably some of the worst Aberdeen teams in history if not the worst I'd say it wasn't a bad record.

Signed him anyway and i already love him he clearly knows his way around Scottish Football <ok>

did you see how he clinched the deal? he had to pay out his own pocket.

and dont give me that pish about juventus. who cares? he FAILED a trial. and where does it say he turned down leicester? think you've been at the sauce.
 
Nowhere does it say he paid the entire fee out of his own pocket, and even with him paying some of it why would it matter?

That pish about Juventus <laugh> how many trials to wonder kids and ex footballing legends recently? if memory serves me right its yous that are skint according to Bolo Zenden <laugh><laugh><laugh>

It was well talked about him moving to Leicester City many of their fans approved of signing him <ok>
