Allsop is absolutely appalling at positioning unfortunately. Distribution yes definitely, positioning.... Jesus no

Just out of interest with the 3 players in front of Allsop which must have restricted his view and being in the middle of the goal and the 3 players did not or could not block the shot or intercept it because they must have been out of position at the start of it what else could it have been ( i'm using your thinking on that issue), don't you think Allsop did well to at least get down to it even though he would not have been in the position you would have been?.

Really don't understand your thing about his positioning. The other week it was coming off his line for a one on one, and you couldn't tell me then where else you wanted him to be. Now it's being in the middle of his goal at a long shot, again I don't understand where else you'd expect him to be.

I've not mentioned a single thing about specifics today as I didn't see it so won't. But for a goalkeeper his position is piss poor overall. Absolutely nobody can pull him on his distribution, but his positioning is shocking

It's so bad we don't get thumped or is that just the defence or that we just keep the possession all the time.

And every goalkeeper in this league must be bad as they let quite a few goals in to.

Not sure why you're getting so defensive, it's just a simple one...with his feet he's very good, but his positioning is very poor. The same as Ingrams feet are not as good but his shot stopping is very good

Allsop’s positioning and reactions are the weakest parts of his game. It isn’t just today. It’s been a common trend all season. Several times this season I’ve noticed when he’s conceded a goal and thought ‘that was such a weird attempt at a dive for a keeper’.

Well he is doing something right because we are getting results and he is a big part of it and he has made good saves as well.

Omur is going to be special, the best of the lot.

I like the way he was calling for the ball and when he got it did a good cross Jacob brilliantly converted.

Hopefully Greaves will gain alot of confidence from that and get up to try score more often like some defenders in the game do, expect that has added a few £'s to his value.

Can’t really get on board with the criticism of Alsopp, sure he makes the odd handling mistake but so do all keepers, other than at the end he’s looked pretty solid and was having a good game today overall.

The odd mistake shouldn’t overshadow how much he is instrumental in starting the majority of our attacks to good effect and being integral to how we play out from the back. I could be wrong but I generally feel he’s won us more points than he’s lost us.

just wondering who the last defender to get two or more goals in a game was. i remember the full-back version of steve harper (not the later goalkeeper version) getting a hat-trick once in a 4-0 win. wondering if richard jobson had a two. i remember him scoring for several consecutive games.

I am allowed my opinion as you well know....but ive been watching city for 54 years now....and the "football" he serves up is utterly boring especially at home...so i wont shed any tears when he finally goes

Yeah you sound like someone who watches when everybody around them supports

Yes his distribution is spot on, but that doesn't mean the weaker parts of his game are immune from being talked about. He's getting better as all keepers do with a good run in the team and long may that improvement continue

Thinking Todd Kane scored 2 at West Brom from right back maybe 6/7 years ago.

Thats correct pal....thanks for your input,i have taken everything on board what you've said, and you are far more intelligent than me,so therefore you are correct

Just wondering if anyone backed Greaves for 2 goals win, would now be deliriously happy!

I opened a bet365 account a few weeks ago so I could put £10 on City to win promotion at 25/1. Anyway, I got an opening offer to get a free bet up to £30 if I placed any first settled bet up to that amount. So I placed a £30 bet on Swansea match which I lost, but for my free bet in return I put the full £30 on Greaves to score first today at 33/1! A fantastic away trip for me and my lad, topped off with £990 winnings! Cheers Greavsie what a performance!
