In all seriousness I wish I'd done Karate.. I did a bit of judo and boxing.. I don't think I could even do karate now anyway because my mobility is dreadful.
Worth trying anyway mate. Some decent clubs up there too. Or if it's really bad then Tai Chi is meant to be good for mobility.
Really I'm too old for anything new.. I have however been working the bag again...nothing serious but practicing a few ladder drills and just trying to slow down the aging process. I get bored just lifting weights and I like to know that if needed I can defend myself in some way at least. I will continue to annoy you all even more now because it makes it even funnier knowing I'm doing it to trained martial artists.
?. I bet you actually went to marks and Spencer’s, bought a brown belt and then watched shogun. #trevnav
It's all a lie. Trev said he gave it up as a brown belt in his late 30s. But karate hadn't been invented then.
I'm not going to lie I'm a very disappointed.. I honestly firmly believed I would be able to chin the lot of you.
He's made a mistake anyway because the solution would now be to lace his drink ... no no I insist kinda move. We'll see how hard he is after that
It depends what I could get my hands on at the time...with a black belt I wouldn't be messing around ... Needless to say you'd be rather heavily dosed.
Karate was/is the definition of me. Shotokan is a Japanese martial art based on inner and outer peace, as well as the principles of humility, compassion, respect, and patience. Res ipsa loquitur.
