Those games against Luton (Both Home and Away) and Forrest (Home) have completely ****ed our season off the tracks.

An extra 8 points (Which really should have been bankers) at this stage and things would have looked a hell of a lot better.

I'd go all the way back to Liverpool at home and west ham away... unfortunately Newcastle have repeatedly fluffed their lines this season.

We never beat Liverpool, We always manage to go full on thickfuck mode whenever we get a sniff of a result against them.

This season Newcastle were Newcastle more regularly than even I've accepted as our identity.... it's been never ending text book nufc.

Both last season and the season before we finished hellishly strong. If we do it again, and there's nothing to suggest we won't. We can still make top 4 or 5.

As for re-evaluating, I'm not. I think any sensible person is constantly evaluating things as they happen. I'm sure as hell not going to lose sleep over a prediction I made on an internet forum that was meant to be a bit of fun and banter, rather than a stick to hit people with.

I completely understand the reason's the season has gone the way it has. We're not a bad team, we still have periods in games where we look great. If we had the options available to us from the bench we could have easily picked up a load more points. Thing is Hindsight is great after an event.

Some more than others...
:bandit:

We've beaten them home and away and you don't rate us, you can't be losing to mediocre sides and expect champions league football.

We lost to Luton mate it's football, but to suggest Villa are out the top 5 race at this point is very strange.

Changing your assessment is fine especially if you're wrong in the first place..it's better to be late than never arrive there.... we all should have the strength to do so.

All this stuff about being positive or negative carries no relevance whatsoever as to what is correct or not.

Can't we all just make our assessments and leave hocus pocus where it belongs? In the skip with my reverse psychology.
