I see Bamford was up to his cheating ways yesterday against Rotherham, used his elbow to divert a cross into the net and then runs away in celebration pointing to his elbow..... you can take the boy out of the SW6 puppy farm but he's still a twat.....

Also we weren’t the only team undone by a training ground corner routine yesterday, Swansea scored an almost identical goal at Hull and there was another they showed last night on EFL show but can't remember who by....

Finally a word about attendances in the EFL, there's some really impressive crowds going to watch games outside the top flight.... Despite us having a sell out we were still the 2nd lowest crowd in the división.....and some brilliant away support, Plymouth took 1000 fans to Sunderland and Portsmouth took almost 2000 to Carlisle....

No doubt in true tradition, we'll try our best to cheer them up on Wednesday night !
Normally I'd think that's exactly what will happen but we definitely seem to have a bit more about us now. These next two games really are such a huge opportunity for us, just hope we don't get complacent.

How would you fit them all in?
Genuine question.
If Andersen is fit enough to start I'd definitely start him, I think he can play on either wing so I'd start him on the left. I'd start Smyth on the right wing and Chair as a floating 10 with Frey ahead of him as the striker. I'd love to fit in Armstrong too but wouldn't feel sad about him coming on the last 25/30 mins against tiring legs. If Frey isn't fit enough to start then I'd do the reverse between the 2. Colback to start in usual position with either Hodge or Hayden in there with him. Hodge would be my preferred choice as an attacking option but might be too adventurous away from home. The keeper and back 4 would be the same as last game if all fit !

Quite an open midfield with Hodge and Chair in there.
That's why I asked, as it's getting increasingly difficult to decide who to leave out.
I suspect Chair may miss out at some point.

Agreed...I hope Frey is fit enough to start...but doubt he will yet.Field won't start either

My team

Begovic
Cannon, CS, Cook, Paal

Colback, Hayden

Anderson, Hodge, Chair
Armstrong

With Smyth and Frey knowing they will come on

And also on bench Field and Willock and Dykes...( Fox, D-Bonner too)...strong bench

“… strong bench” - words I haven’t heard for a long time about the Rrrsss.
