Think you should give AVB till the end of the season and judge then, knee jerk reactions wont help your cause at this point in time.Someone mention Guus Hidink, didnt he quit/get sacked as Turkey Manager after failing to qualify for the WC?

Dont understand your logic on this one Mr Suarez because your clubs knee jerk reaction to Roy Hodgson hasnt turned out too bad has it,I would gladly settle for the same sort of turnaround to be honest.

Knee jerk?

Just remember where Woy had taken us in his "kwest"

19th in the league, out of the Carling Cup. You lot are calling for AVB's head when you're still in all competitions and 5th in the league.

Try and gain a sense of perspective.

True but the worry is we could be out of three comps within the next 2 weeks way things are going!!

you have to question the decision to pay £13.2m for a manager. that, and the fact that he is young and portuguese, is AVB's only saving grace at the moment. this is a team which should be doing an awful lot better than what they are doing currently, and ancelotti was sacked for doing much better than what chelsea are doing now.

yes its early days and so on, but this is a poor start, but at the end of the day its only that, a start, chelsea need to qualify from this group, get back on track in the premiership and keep the points total ticking over, like united did after the 6-1.

to any chelsea fan, what possessed the club to sack ancelotti, when they could have allowed him to see out the final year of his contract before then sacking him and replacing him with AVB who would then become available for a fraction of the compensation fee. and thats before reminding you all that ancelotti is an outstanding manager who has won the champions league as a player and as a manager. AVB with his background was always a gamble, a calculated gamble but a gamble nonetheless and so far his team are producing performances below par
