For that price defo worth a punt.

He’s scored a lot of goals this season. He’s 27 so prime age aswell.

Worth a punt, but realistically, others will punt, and we'll not compete on the wages front.

I'd steer clear of targets with a gaggle of competition and concentrate on whatever the prime targets we have may be..

To give myself some perspective, this was the team on the last game of the 2019/2020 season:

    Dubravka
    Manquillo - Fernandez - Rose
    Lazaro - Shelvey - Bentaleb - Almiron - Ritchie
    Maxi - Gayle

now if all fit we’d have:

    Pope
    Trippier - Schar - Botman - Livramento
    Tonali - Bruno - Joelinton
    Barnes - Isak - Gordon

Who’d have thought 4 years later we’d have the likes of Isak, Bruno, Botman, Gordon etc.

I still wish we had Maxi. And I know he wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

But he was brilliant when on form.

I know Sean Longstaff gets a lot of peters because he isn’t Hollywood. But you really have to have that kind of player next to a Bruno.

Miley has done absolutely fantastic but (I know I’m going to get grilled here). He isn’t the finished article and we should not put that on his shoulders.

Having said that. If he’s good enough. He’s good enough. So why is Burn starting over Livermento.

The combination on miley Bruno and Longstaff is too slow.

You've been correct all summer and all season... the cult will pipe up when Newcastle win a game but the full seasons been poor so far.

Ultimately it doesn’t really matter what the squad looks like, if we’re getting beat off Forest and Luton, languishing in mid table and out of all but one competition.

It’s been pretty crap from Howe this season and Luton home suggests it’s not likely to get an awful lot better. Nice bloke, did ok but showing why he was unemployed for a looooong time after relegating Bournemouth. Not a bad thing, but never going to get Newcastle competing.

If it makes you feel any better I had a dream last night that we were 3-0 up against Liverpool in the FA Cup final with Isak, Bruno and Barnes being the scorers. Sadly the dream stopped on the 75th minute.

Can’t wait for some of the deadwood to be shifted in the summer to make way for our new wave of galacticos.

The problem here I'd that not only Pope has been missing.... dubs is better with his feet but Pope is better at the most important thing by miles.

McTominay is Man United's top scorer this season. Sign him up.
