You guys better not carried away because you beat the might of Stoke City (Who we would of beaten too if they hadn't cheated to get Barnett sent off). When Swansea made the trip to Carrow Road, they where bullied by Steve Morrison and your Championship defence can expect the same treatment. Don't forget you got thrashed by Bolton Wanderers at the start of the season! :)

A very well researched and insightful post. Our 'Championship defence' had the best defensive record in the Championship last year in case you have forgotten.

And since then we have signed Luke Young, Anton Ferdinand, Danny Gabbidon, and Armand Traore. All of the above start in our defence and between them they have circa 30 years of Premier League seasons behind them.

Try again.

Just a question on how much you think your club are going to spend in January , and how many players you feel you need to stay up ? Some on the swans board wants us to spend circa £10m on players, that is up to them, me can't see it but there you go.

Well we certainly won't be holding any fears from a defence containing Clint Hill and Gabbidon! Though, I must say I am surprised Helgulson is your top scorer, I never would of thought he of had a chance in the Premier League. But maybe that's just an indication of how **** the rest of your strikers are?

Dangerous, Clint is alot better than opposing fans realise but that's fine I don't mind other fans under-estimating our players(as stated above was integral part of the best defence last season)
Now our strikers, well again HH is better than most think, we have signed a striker from the championship like you have in Jay Bothroyd, and have DJ Campbell who scored 12/13 in the prem last season, and have jamie Mackie back who I'm sure again you're gonna say is C**p, but would have scored 15/20 imo last season if he had not broken his leg.
Hopefully a combination of HH, JB, JM, make you eat your words on sat.

Jager there seems to be a figure of £15 mill floating around, and Neil has said he wants 4/5 players. But to be honest no one knows

Well you missed out on a lot of things at the start of the season, so I guess it evens itself out, how much did you spend at the start ? The swans spend about £10m and just can't see them spending that much again.

No-one knows the total, all undisclosed.

I can see that Kebe bloke from Reading getting a call soon as he is not wanting to stay there and we have been keeping our eyes and ears open. NW likes him and he is one Championship player that can make the jump. Always wondered why they got Gorkks?

How many >3 goal spankings have Norwich had... <whistle>

Yeah but we beat Chelsea you didn't.
You drew with Stoke we beat them
you lost to villa we didn't
You haven't won in 4 games
You are lower in the league
You have Delia

What's your point?

Wot Ellers sed,
but he forgot to add muppet! <laugh>

Anyone else agree that Steve Morison is a poor mans HH, better on the ground slightly but no where near as good in the air

He's a decent player and seems to be improving all the time. He gave us a torrid time at the Den last season but we had ****tu at the back so no huge surprise. I'd expect Ferdinand to cope quite well given his form to be honest.
