Gotta be a return to winning ways, Moore scores more, and Samienta too. A long overdue winning streak like last Feb begins. 3-1 Town
2-1 win for us after going a goal behind. We only played 3 league games in January ,who should have played last week whilst giving Maidstone a run for their money?
They did a number on us at their place earlier this season. The first time we’ve seen McKenna thoroughly outcoached at this level (and unfortunately seems to have happened a couple of times of late). We’ll get back to winning ways, but not against West Brom. 2-2 draw.
In an effort to diplomatically clean up our posts and unwanted visitors, lets just ignore and keep things clean and focus on the footie. I see Williams is fit to return which will be a boost, and when selected if he can get back his early season form, this will be like anorher signing! One issue that constantly niggles, is our frequent give away early goals. Often in 10 mins, let alone 2 in first 8! Ignoring the poor officials, surely KM can address this by a change of tactics for first 15 mins, early press, not pissing about in our goalmouth etc. How often do we concede in those early mins?
Gaffer, having watched the lowlights from Saturday, how were the first two goals allowed ? Firstly a clear foul on Sam for goal 1. The second, If I were writing a book on wrong off side decisions, that would be on the front cover !
Hladky (any more slip ups and Walton could get call up for next game) Williams Wolfy Burgess Leif Morsy Luongo Burns Hutchinson Broadhead Moore
Please delete this if it’s not appropriate but I have been told that the story on the front page of the sun is (allegedly) about Williams. If it is - pinch of salt required then he’s going to be out for more than 2 weeks
Seems that is based on him being caught in the act inhaling from a balloon in a car last Spring. Begs the question, why did we go near him in the first place?
Yes, they were 2 shockers! Until we get Var in the championship, prob unlikely, we will continue to get poor decisions, which in reality, cost us the game as we were shambolic afterwards. Equally, our game plan must change from the off. A few months ago we pressed, attacked from start. Spanish is right, a few wobbles from Hladky might result in Walton recall. I doubt it, but he needs to sharpen up his act. He has done very well for months. Same for Clarke, much quicker passing out and no more dilly dallying!
Well the first goal was Edmundson’s blocking error and the third goal was Morsy’s error, for none of them was Hladky at fault.
My misunderstanding, you proposed dropping him for Walton. I assumed it must have to do with conceding goals.
