The BBC had us down as a 3-5-2 ? Got a lucky point anywayFleming seems a decent bloke but the 6-2-2 against Blackpool was crazy. Lucky or mad genius?

4 CB's and 2FB's. One of the CB's had to go off at H/T and Louis Watson came on to get us back to sanity. Needless to say we played much better. The BBC had us down as a 3-5-2 ? Got a lucky point anyway![]()
Who’d have thought it ?4 CB's and 2FB's. One of the CB's had to go off at H/T and Louis Watson came on to get us back to sanity. Needless to say we played much better.
If we don't get Jones I want to know the reason why. What’s happening with our manager.
Seen elsewhere that Warnock is now favourite ??
What’s happened to Jones ??
Maybe he’s not a SMT yes man ?If we don't get Jones I want to know the reason why.
But our SMT is very very good, according to the SMTMaybe he’s not a SMT yes man ?
So Warnock’s definitely out as well.Maybe he’s not a SMT yes man ?
Semantics I know, but I see GFP as our owners (who appear to be largely not to blame, although we know nothing of the budgets that they set) but SE7 partners as Methven and Warrick plus the people they have appointed, ie Scott and Rodwell, these collectively being what I call the SMT.I'm happy enough with Jones. Apart from Sir Lennie all our successful managers have a Charlton connection. I blame the SMT more than SE7 for our plight. SE7 have put a lot of money in, and the SMT have squandered it on poor recruitment. Just for a change I want a long-term manager, and all it needs really is sensible management to grind out enough points to stay up, and we haven't had that. A long-term manager will be able to plan ahead for the summer. Warnock a is a terrific firefighter, but it would mean another change in manager before long.

Jones will not throw enough f**** around for the short term.
