And there we are, my comments cut you so deep about Klopp's inability and his reasons for leaving, that you change the bantz to attendances. So let's do attendances then, quite simply to my knowledge as a mere Southerner, Manchester City have never been a fashionable club to watch, unlike teams such as Liverpool, but tbph with you mate, I don't use football as a fashion accessory, but for those that do even Celtic out sing the Liverpool Kop these days and that's the equivalent to getting beat by a Championship club such as Leicester City to the title. They put another tier on your stand at Anfield, just so a few more tourists can come visit the fashionable reds and make the place even more sterile, it's like Newcastle waving bin liners and don't even get me started on Arsenal.
Easy win for United obviously but wheeling out Casemiro again against the pace West Ham have seems risky.
Still think it's a shame, SKY seem to want to put extensive coverage with everything else, a few black men kicking a football about wasn't good enough for them. #WhiteGuyUpFrontForBurnleyMoment see @Spurly for details.
I’d say fair play for them going for it at all. Doubt the ratings are great and I’d have expected it to be on one of those weird channels no one has like the one they show most of the Euro qualifiers on.
My recollection of Citeh is a bit different... when I started watching my lot in the early 70s, Citeh had a great team with players like Doyle, Summerbee, Colin Bell and Franny Lee ... always brought a big following with them to Filbert St and Maine Rd always seemed packed on the telly ... yes they then went through the doldrums ... but they weren't alone ... Chelsea had a similar trajectory after the wonderful cup winning side of 1970 and were getting crowds of under 20k in the old second division ... "Football is very much about cycles ... and the more money a club has, the better the bike it can buy..." Fossecrates
Yeah I remember all that but no point talking to Sucky in regards to the 1970's over five decades ago, it's a bit like Munse banging on about a trophy they won in 1950 something.
Their first coverage on AFCON was absolute dog shhite, no sound, then no picture, no intro to previous games, it was like here it is lads, this is all we could offer, like sending smoke signals instead of picking up the phone, probably more interesting but not the point when charging a subscription.
Hopefully it's this busy after the game. Liverpool win everyone disappears Arsenal win it'll be packed. We are massive
Ahh, that is fair mate. Sometimes get the same treatment from Norwegian providers who charge like 70 quid for the football A joke
If I want something I'm happy to pay for it, but SKY this season has not been great, poor coverage of the AFCON (imo)....money on a new studio for midweek Prem games that looks ridiculous, BT these past two weeks appearing to have better games on than SKY. I think what's happened is they've bought all league games and prem games for 2024-25 onwards that they've blown their budget, so think they can short change their customers now. Plus, yes there's a plus, Amazon Prime are better than all of them when it comes to streaming and they've not bought a single package, unless they sublet something off SKY.
the sound and pictures faults had absolutely nothing to do with Sky but was the host broadcaster who supply the feed for all other companies to show so the whole world had the same problem .
