Interesting window from our POV. Not sure we are any better or worse off, for me that will depend on how Rothwell does.
Our matchday squad is in theory stronger for having brought in Brooks. Not much we could do about it, but we have lost the depth at CB which may or may not be important, we'll find out. IMO Charly is going to be a loss going into a busy stretch of games and 4 of the toughest away fixtures to date. Not sure Rothwell can come on and change the game and create something from nothing like Charly could, and that could be the difference in tight games.
Keeping hold of KWP for another window is the most important thing though, good thing for us the PL clubs are running scared of FFP.

Edit: Also, we could really do with Adams continuing to perform even now the window has shut.
I think Brooks will provide that spark that Charly did at times. Not sure on Rothwell. In theory when he gets up to speak he will help break the lines as he appears to be able to carry the ball well, and looks technically able. Mind you, with Stu in form, not sure how much he will feature. Busy period I guess.

Injuries, suspensions, three game weeks etc all very much in play. That's why I like the Rothwell signing and the depth it gives.

My main worry is KWP and keeping him fit and playing every game. But that would be a worry even if we had Cafu as backup.

Rothwell has essentially taken Charlys spot in the squad though so he doesn't give us any further depth than we already had. Brooks is an additional player though, and gives us more attacking options. Being able to bring him on on the right and move AArmstrong central alongside Che could be a good option in games where we are chasing a late goal.

Not sure I agree with this entirely. I think Rothwell means we have 4/5 players covering two deeper lying midfield spots, with two of those also able to play a little further forward and one proving emergency cover at centre back. That's good balance and good depth.

Yeah the two key players in the first half of the season were KWP & Arma and we had back up for neither. I think Brooks helps with the Arma situation but there is no way KWP can play games every 3 or 4 days for the next couple of months. I hope Bree steps up when he is back fit.

Bree will be back in 2 weeks apparently, so that will be a huge help.

Lets be honest, it is testament to what he has done like Blackmore suggested. They've got the bit between their teeth and are winning.
This is incredible ****ing news.

When you consider that last season the club was full of mercenaries who clearly didn’t want to be here.

Now we have a team all pulling in the same direction. Love it
Yep, massive turn around. Credit where credits due.

Id love to see Stuey commit for another season, Whichever league we are in.. We are so much better when he is in it in his new favored position.

Anyone know what was the final situ regarding Leicester & Ipswich regarding ins/outs & +/- ? I’d say we are very marginally + only because I feel Brooks may be able to influence our forward play better than Charley (once he’s up to speed).

Ipswich will be very happy they got Moore. Sarmiento and Al-Hamadi add attacking options too. Didn't lose anyone. Biggest asset remains their manager, for me.

Leicester had no change at all really and must be pretty happy with that (D-H staying etc)

Same for Leeds really, Conor Roberts (great attitude) in for Jed Spence (terrible attitude) maybe a slight upgrade.

Us - Brooks is a serious addition. Rothwell provides options and experienced cover. No question teams above would have been hoping KWP and Che had left/been unsettled. Charlie leaving is gutting but not a game changer for me.

Good window. That's my take anyway.

I'm happy with the window, Slight concern if we lose either Bednarek or THB to injury but can't grumble.
I prefer a small squad of 21/22 players. Allows the chance for youth to get on the bench especially with 9 subs which we are already seeing alot of.

Yes, he’s been brilliant. I’m really excited about Brooks too, as he can also makes things happen.

Brooks and KWP on that right hand side are going to cause soooo many issues.. A team won't know whether to mark Brooks or KWP, and considering i think they'll both be our best attacking players we are going to score alot of goals from that side of the pitch.

It will create a lot of space and opportunities for Fraser on the left as well. Those diagonal passes which Brookes plays will be meat and drink to Fraser.

It is an insane right side. And then you have Frazier or Edozie on the left, both in form!
