sorry I meant midfield additions for if Neil can’t play that role he played on Saturday. That role for me needs an experienced head who can come on as needed
The problem is we are signing NONE for now. Every player we sign is for the future. Nobody wants us to sign a 30 year old in every position I don’t know why that’s how it’s being spun but it’s nonsense. I mentioned signing a few players to help the young squad we have.
No he doesn’t. He didn’t even start playing until he was 19 and that in was in league one. He’s got about 60 championship games under his belt that’s not loads of experience. O’nien is the only player we have regularly starting who’s over the age of 23 and most of his career has been spent as a midfielder in the lower leagues playing against ****e.
He will be interested since he loved it last time. It’s just a case of persuading Man U to give him to us for a few month. I can’t see it.
Well Neil did, or at least had a history of buying players around the 30 mark wherever he was manager. You are right, age isn't always necessary for experience. 100 league games is a reasonable starting point
Nah, Robbie Keane is at the Ramside. Jan Koller is at Seaham Hall. Diallo at the Hilton. And Will Still is staying in the Premier Inn waiting for Beale's mole to explode.
Be interesting to see if that Tim Iroegbunam is in the Villa squad tonight. Think we were linked at the beginning of the window
