Take the money and sell him in January, It's better to take a few Million than nothing
 
It maybe depends on if he feels differently now that we have someone as manager who actually knows what he's doing and is prepared to work for the common cause.

Can't blame the lad for wanting to play in the Prem. It would obviously be nicer if it was with us, but that is some way away yet.

Matty would serve you well, except he would cost you BIG bucks. Not cuz he is any good, but just cuz everyone knows you massively over spend on your players.

i think we should sell Maynard in January and snap Rhodes up from Huddersfield, looks a very good, and no doubt we have the money for him
 
Jordan Rhodes will prob be at a prem team soon to be honest and will be in the championship next season anyway with Huddersfield
 
well when we went in for Maynard, there were a few premiership teams after him but we got him, so lets not give up in a race we haven't started ,if Maynard hasn't signed we need to sell him and replace him with a young striker whos scoring goals, pitman, Albert and stead will do a good job we just need another Maynard and i think that would be Rhodes
 
What makes you think we would get a fee if Fulham do want him?
He can sign a pre-contract agreement with them in Jan and go for nowt
in the summer I believe. Unless they desperately want him earlier and are worrying about
relegation. Don't see that as the most likely scenario myself - and his agent will be trying
to get any fee as a "golden hello" rather than it go to us (can't blame him as
I would do the same if it was me). So chances are he'd go and we'd get nothing sadly.

He can only do that if he wants to go abroad or Scotland even... He can't sign a pre-contract agreement with another English club so he's still a valuable asset to us.
