What’s the true story?

Abe dived off the cliffs along the Mumbles, got a 9.5 for artistic merit from the Sabatean-frankist judge; represented Wales at many a Commonwealth games before eventually taking up knitting and starting a cottage industry supplying 'shooms via the Internet...

Got a platinum medal before failing the drug test.

so they say……the true story is more embarrassing for you guys though <laugh>

You clearly never went to a Cardiff Swansea derby back in the good ole days <laugh>

No, but I've been in town when the police had to close all the shops due to marauding dickheads.

To be honest, both sets of supporters are embarrassing morons. Pissed up thick ****s wearing fake gear.

You seem to take pride in it though, weirdly.

Part of the game and at my time being active the soul crew was the best in Britain……means fk all too prawn sandwiches like yourself I guess <laugh>

I went once, when they played Wigan.

Was seeing a bird from Seaham I'd met on holiday, she worked the Saturday so I went to a game. 1987 I think.
You went before me then. 88 or 89 was my first game there.

Just checked and we did play Wigan in 87. Won 4-1. Was the bird nice?

Yeah, that was the game. Wigan fairly new to the league back then.

She was fit as **** tbf. Worth the National Express journey!

<laugh>

Yeah, ok mate.

I used to go away games with United back then. Can't say anyone had heard of a Soul Crew.

Legends in your own heads, just like the Swansea version are.

<laugh>

you havent got the foggiest have you <laugh>

that’s the majority of football fans of all clubs yet some wanted more out of the game of football….such is life

I'm too old to be arsed about having a ruck at football, it's just nonsense now.

I did that as a teen and early twenties, the buzz of the game being partially about potential aggro at away games. It was good, and had plenty hairy moments in Cities across England, but now I'm not interested.

Swansea aren't even my actual team, I go because I take my sons to watch their local team.. Plus, it's not premier league bollocks and it's on Saturday afternoon's.

Last year's South Wales derby was full (Swansea won as usual), and the ones making up the numbers were ****ing idiots who got pissed up first thing in the morning to shout abuse across the length of stadium at away fans who'd been bussed in and they couldn't get to anyway. They are nowhere near Swans games otherwise. They should stay the **** away for derby games as well.

Been to a few away games over the last few years taking my sons and the proper Swans away are a good crack actually, it's the derby day ones are twats. I'd say that applies to both sides.
