16 league games
4 FA cup games
3 EFL cup games
7 European games
1 world club cup game

31 games.

As a hammer, I'm happy with the signing, he was great at Leeds, good for England, and not being able to get in the starting XI of the team with the probably the best midfield in the world doesn't make him ****.

You're quoting me so I'll reply in kind that I never said he was ****, I was pointing pointing that comparing him to Teddy Sheringham at United is ludicrous. Sheringham actually played games.

He's bang average for England though. Shouldn't be anywhere near that team, but that's on Southgate.

Plus, Phillips learnt from the greatest manager of all time.
Can’t even remember who was in charge of United in the 90’s.
I’m sure this will all end amicably with a heartfelt apology from trebs and chief to our Douglas.

I'm sorry I can't unread it, if that helps.

Apparently Brighton are in negotiations with us to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall... can't see why we would sell ... but latest rumour us that Arsenal are also interested and that Everton and Newcastle are 'Great admirers' but FFP constrained ...

He's been arguably our best player this season so I'd be very surprised if we'd risk derailing the promotion charge ... and especially for the £30m being touted ... and with Conor Gallagher apparently going for twice that ...<doh>

... but who knows.

Can't see you needing the money after your summer sales, he's gonna be worth more to you than that when you go up. Can't see it happening. Saw Orstein tweeted it this morning, can't remember the last time he got anything right

Maresca has been quoted as saying we don't need to sell anyone but that we would have to if we wanted to bring anyone else in (other than Stefano Sensi which appears to be a done deal for less than £2m) - that would be the likes of Danny Ward and Harry Souttar who are certainly surplus to requirements...

Or it’s the right time. They don’t need him to get promoted and his stock doesn’t really go up any more when they do.

9 goals and 9 assists says we do ... he's also naturally left footed so a bit of a rarity in a box-to-box English midfielder - could see him getting a call up for the full England squad at some point ...

yea, ones a championship star like others including adel taraabt. Ones a captain of one of the biggest clubs in the world :p

That season Taarabt had will never be beaten. Stats nonces will say Mitrovic or someone but Taarabt carried a pretty mediocre side and there were plenty of games he just embarrassed teams single-handedly for his own amusement.
