So, Mason Greenwood... Man Utd don't want him back after the female team peer pressured them (they were talking him back prior to their objection). He's since been tearing it up at Getafe and now Barca are rumoured to be interested in signing him. My question; will the female team objection to the club receiving money him Greenwood? Afterall, it's tainted money isn't it?
no. it's female famous stars shouting from the roof tops, not just the female team that's caused it. it's pretty clear what he did and what the person involved values most of all. After that 99% of football fans forget he existed.
The club still benefits from his sale They should have just released him if they felt that strongly about it. They haven't because they want to protect their 'financial asset'
well theres business and then there's ethics. the only time the two mix is when business people want to pretend for show.
If you make Meth in the Old Trafford basement and sell it. That's tainted money. If you offload an objectionable player (who you didn't sign originally knowing he would be objectionable) that's not tainted money. The Meth was always intended to be what it is. Greenwood wasn't. There's no shame in getting money for your trash if someone is willing to buy it. The shame is on the buyer.
What if that money helps pay the wages of those females that objected to him remaining...? I agree with you btw, just asking a questioning is all
So Mbappe is going to cost Real Madrid almost 200million Euros for his first season there after sign on bonus and wages. Astounding.
Then that is a bonus. To clarify, I was saying they should get money for him and no shame in getting money for him.
Some good comes from a bad thing? Tbh, I don't know why I'm joining in, I don't really have an opinion on this.
not really. 100mil signing on fee as he is free only puts him in the league of Fernandez, caicedo, grealish and rice. the fact clubs actulaly paid that much for that pile of average is astounding. 100mil a year could be 1mil a week plus another mil a week in bonues etc. who knows. its again not out of line with what he was getting. whats year 2 going to cos them?
I'm sure every year at every transfer window we'll hear how he's unhappy at Madrid and how he plans to sign with us. This should continue at least until 2030.

Its a very strange criticism. Essentially he's been criticized for coming back to the the UK for treatment and not staying with the squad. Which is just ridiculous. a) we pay his wages, so its only right our medical team take the lead b) he can't play anyway, suppose he could be their for leadership and support. But he's also a professional who wants to play at some point in the next few weeks. c) This tournament is taking place mid-season, its not like the World Cup or Euros where everyone is on holiday and the player might as well stay with the squad. d) The medical care in the UK is better
Well thats all an assumption but it's imo largely based on klopp saying what would happen before the Egypt manager and now their noses are out of joint and of course the second things are not plain sailing media anywhere, even Egypt, finds a scapegoat. their national hero of course is deserting their guys who simply can't defend by the looks of things.
