Sounds like there's a bit of player power already being applied. His club can accept what they want, but if he won't agree terms then they either get stuck with a player they don't want or he goes to his preferred destination cheaper.
Think they've frozen him out of first team training also. If that's the case then they've somewhat backed themselves into a corner.

In what way? Robinson has managed him before and both he,and the player,seem to think it may bring out the best in him... He's not our player anymore,hasn't been for a year,he's still a young lad and someone has took a punt on him,can't see why anyone gives a frogs fat ass?
Both 'rumoured' to have had 'issue's with their minds and mindset at some point or another,so yes,similar in some ways. I wish him well and hope he can kick start his career with St Mirren.
