Is it just me or can anyone else never actually read articles on echo or any other newspaper website these days for the amount of adverts embedded within the page that take forever to load, then refresh when you’ve scrolled halfway down and kicks you back to the top.
I get websites have to make money from advertisers but they’ve gone so over the top

Anyone else find it odd the way the media, pundits and Toney himself talked up his return like he was some kind of hero?
He was suspended in disgrace for 262 betting offences including betting on his own team to lose. That's shameful. I hope he's getting the help he needs for his addiction recovery but in my view a round of applause from the fans would have done it.

my guesses for AFCON groups
A)Nigeria (7 )Cote d'Ivoire (6), Equatorial Guinea (4) - big game for Guinea and ivory coast though so there could be a 3 point 3rd placed team here
B) Cape Verde (7) Ghana (4) Egypt (3). best i can see for egypt is 3 points, could be just 2.
C) Senegal (9), Guinea (4) Cameroon (4) i see Cameroon winning the last game to sneak through. they might draw to have a team on 2 points.
D) Algeria (5) Angola (5) vs Burkina Faso (5) anyone could be 3rd in this group. Algeria need a win to go form 2 to 5 on the last day but are favourites.
E) South Africa (3) play Tunisia (1) then Namibia (3) play Mali (4). this one is anyones guess. minimum points in 3rd are 3 points.
F) Morocco (7) DR Congo (5) Zambia (2). pure guessing again but it could be a 2 point group.
from this egypt have some hope. group F and group C could put them through on 2 points. vIf egypt bore out a draw then 3 points may well do it for them.
I see this being an unlikely win for egypt to put them 2nd however.
If egypt are third and so maybe the 4th placed 3rd team then the nightmare is senegal in the last 16.
If they are 2nd then the last 16 is going to be the runner up in group f which is hard to call currently but i've guessed at DR congo.
tonight decides this. IMO egypt will want to try win this game and Cape verde might be quite happy to rest given they've already won the group.

Japan screwed up so Iraq have won group D. Japan play indonesia to secure 2nd spot now.
Again in this one 4 of thr 6 third places do go through. Japain will have 3 points now so unless they lose they will be 2nd in the group due to GD. If they do lose they will easily be best of the third places as there's Syria, Palestine and others all stuck on one point and making up numbers.
