Analysis of performance:

Diabolical first half.

Better second, but still very lucky not to concede! That was down to heroics from Coyle (robbed if he doesn’t get MOTM), Greaves, Jacob and Allsop (his best game by far). I was glad we stopped messing about at the back though.

Sharp was very effective. Carvalho looked positive again.

I thought we deserved something though because of all the bad referees we’ve had. UTT.

Fabulous result. Brave, disciplined, never-say-die performance. Coyle is proving himself the 2020s Ian Ashbee. I hope he manages to go all the way and plays in the Prem for us too. I remember dissing him when he and Emmanuel were vying for the same place. How wrong can you be. Thrilled with the way Matty Jacob has grabbed his place too. Hope he’s our left back for years to come. Seems to have some bursting forward runs in him too.

I’m really glad we won because I don’t like calling out the manager, and I did before kick off, because he went for a point, so 3 points was a massive bonus, but he needs to be braver, we won that with half the team out, we are a really good side, just ****ing go for it Liam

We played that game perfectly.
