Gillespie, Karius, Manquillo, Krafth, Dummett, Lewis, Hayden, Hendrick, Fraser, Ritchie - All taking wages home with no benefit to us at present - all have done what's needed of them and we thank them for their service but if you could wave a magic wand they'd all be gone by the end of the window - especially with little in the way of fixture congestion lining up for the last 17 games + FA Cup.

Past that you could look at Lascelles, Burn, Target, Murphy and Wilson of the first team squad who can be upgraded on.

Potential first team players in the U21's or out on loan like Minteh (for Fraser), Kuol (Ritchie), Ashby (Manquillo), White (Hayden), even Bondswell (Lewis) could all come in and do as much for the first team as those listed above and I'd rather see youngsters on the bench/in the cups than them here picking up big wages.

It's crazy that we still have Karius, Dummett, Ritchie, Manquillo, Gillespie, Hendrick all still on the books until the summer, plus the likes of Fraser, Hayden & Lewis on longer contracts.

Those last 3 in particular need to be offloaded soon (even if for free) to save the wage bill. Hayden's contract is until summer 2026 FFS.

In addition, Lascelles & Krafth are due to end their contracts in the summer as well, but at least they are serving as regular match day squad players at the moment. Krafth might even be worth keeping on longer, depending on our summer transfer business.

The rest, get rid asap.
