If the Cresswell thing is true then FARKE is the problem and mouthing off in the media and calling him out on focus, translates to be being disruptive, and not a team player out there in the wide world. His father was peed off and some fooker in the media as I’ve been saying for weeks needs to go see Evans FFS and get the real story. Milwall are getting a potentially top player and will sell him on to a prem team for a big profit. I believe the Milwall owner stated last week he would put up his own money to get Charlie Cresswell. What a joke

Yes FARKE has the right to pick and choose, to drop or sell anyone, but fook me there are times when you need to reign your neck in and think.

Hoping this is paper talk
When a young player isn't featuring then what's the best way for clubs to make money in your opinion Doc ?

1) Loan a player out but he might not play like Perkins and come back virtually worthless.
2) Sell but with a decent sell on clause and hope that the buying club develop the player properly as it's now in their interests to do so.

Good news story

Great news but interesting they don't say how long exactly, which makes me believe it's likely a 2 year extension which would mean 3 years left from the summer.

Is 3 years long term in football ?

Archie has now got a 3.5 year extension until 2028 mate, but is that to pump up the transfer valuation or a serious attempt at building the club?

They had to improve the contract or he would definitely go. This way we might get a couple of seasons out of him

Expecting a goal fest. My last two home matches produced a total of 13 goals. Unfortunately only two were ours. Can’t do worse can we <yikes><yikes>
I really hope you bring the luck of the Irish with you mate. Preston away was a massive chance to reel Ipswich in after spanking them. Same opportunity this week with them playing Leicester away in their next game. Not normally one to say must win, but…

Must win :emoticon-0148-yes: Have a great time pal :emoticon-0148-yes:

We’ve got to reel both Ipswich and Southampton, every one seems to forget them.

Haven’t seen it confirmed yet so might be a load of sh***

I really hope it is as he was to be my future captain. I've no idea what is going on behind the scenes but someone said he was banished from the training ground. I know that has happened to others but they were let back in so it's sad to see things aren't progressing as there has been no sign of Charlie around the matchday squad. We need to keep hold of Charlie as far as I'm concerned especially as we will be losing Cooper in the summer and we've no idea if Rodon will just end up back at Spurs or not.

Goodbye Snods thanks for the effort and the memories

"A little lad from the east end of Glasgow got to live his childhood dream for 20 years playing at 10 great clubs, meeting amazing people, and building relationships with staff and people around those clubs. Getting to represent my country, playing over 600+ games, scoring over 100+ goals and 100+ assists is something I wouldn't have ever imagined doing, then getting told in 2014 I might never play football again after a career-ending knee injury. To then come back and play another 250+ games is something that I am grateful for.

"Big thank you to my family and friends and my agents for supporting me and being there. I wouldn't have played for so long if I didn't have the support of you all. Thank you to my teammates and coaches.

This is good and explains why Everton are crooks and need the book throwing at them.

Everton manager Sean Dyche says it is "tough to take" after the club were again charged with breaching the Premier League's financial rules.

So when is he going to be sold!!!
I suppose pressure will come on when he has 12 months left on this new contract and if he stalls with a new one. Problem of course, as we know only too well, there are so many get out classes in contracts these days they become borderline worthless. Its still miles better than if he'd refused his current extension

No mate, I hadn't forgotten Southampton at all. My point was, after smashing Ipswich, we had Preston away on 26th December with Ipswich at home to Leicester later that day. It was a golden opportunity to get within a few points and pile the pressure on them before that game. We failed and they took a point. This Sunday we have Preston at home and they are away to Leicester Monday night, same scenario and we have to make it count. After that game, Ipswich have us and Leicester out of the way - if we can't reel them in now, who is going to take the points off them that we need?

Now, Southampton, we can do little about for now other than stay within a few points but they have Leicester away in March, Ipswich away in April and us away last game of the season in May. If we maintain good form and stay close enough, it is entirely feasible we could be playing winner takes all against them at our place.

Obviously, if we can reel both in quickly it would be even better but that was my reasoning about getting to Ipswich now if possible. :emoticon-0148-yes:
