Lots of praise for jones. Didn’t actually think he played very well today.

Bradley was solid. Offered a threat going forward and really comfortable defensively. Caught out once or twice withh that late tackle but overral really positive performance.

Jota lively up top. Just couldn’t get the finish away on his chances but good to see him play full 90

feel sorry but not sorry for Elliott

this is his big chance and he has fluffed his lines royally.

he really tried to play as a cm today amd was over on left side deep as a rw there first half on occasions.

gravenberch was poor. just not moving, not really chasing back, stuff bouncing off him etc

I really don't know what we will do next time out cos this won't cut it

Pleased with the win. Two good goals.

Absolute disgrace that Fulham lad rolling round holding his face and the rest of their antics. Managers must be encouraging this sort of behaviour or they'd be telling their players to stop doing it. Referees bear some responsibility as well. If they didn't consistently award fouls, players may stop exaggerating.

Elliot probably trying too hard. Gravenberch was good at Arsenal but poor today. As long as we have options off the bench it's fine. We almost always score so 1 goal at Fulham and they'll need 3.

Elliott is just not a right winger as he wants to get involved too much. I think going forward he won’t be played there from the start.

Almost needs to have a word with klopp and find and nail a position even if that means less game time but only in 1 role. Similar happened with jones going from cm to Lw to cm until he settled on that cm position had a run of games there and nailed it down.

Gakpo was brilliant after coming on, really made an impact down that right side. Maybe he should be the one to take Salah's spot?

I’ve it said before and I’ll say it again, people can chat all they want - I’m so glad he’s a Liverpool player. He’s in his infancy in this country and no one can cope with him.

On today: What a difference when he came on - pair of assists to win it <cheers> keep going lad

he just wouldn't do what I was screaming at him. strange that. :)

he needed to play the position last night and really failed the big audition.

it was sad tbh. you have to be comfortable to let someone else be the playmaker and be in position to receive the ball. there plenty of work in counter pressing and moving to receive the ball.

he looked desperate to just be on the ball so first half we had only 2 forwards.

I get worried when we don't concede first in the first half now.

as much as the talk of this being a real trophy you only need look at what went on.

Fulham asked for 4k tickets for the game which is actually less than the full allocation they could take.

they then failed to sell it and returned some.

the final attendance was 56k which means there was quite a number of empty seats in the stadium and this was evident in the upper anfield road as well.

like, it's a semi final. if you can't sell your allocation for it there's something wrong even if it's an awkward trip after Christmas for the posh tarts from that part of London

no doubt they'll be all in at craven cottage giving it large though.

    Good numbers for a winger.
