If we get offered 115m euro for him in January they'll snap PSG's hand off I reckon. Well, they'll have to. It's a release clause.
I'd imagine any sale will have a release clause in so when he gets bored of the farmers league and goes to Real Madrid we get another payday too...
I can see why PSG would want Bruno, their probably still kicking themselves for not buying him on the cheap when he was one of the best players in France while at Lyon. We'd miss him but we could fill out a few of the weak positions in our squad with good quality players with that kind of transfer fee.
I know he's outstanding, but £110m is just too much for someone who is a little slow and a touch emotional. Bearing in mind the replacement is already here, just not playing, and Philips on loan for £5m isn't a terrible idea because he's just a bit more CDM than "quarterback". Just for now. I mean, don't get me wrong, I wish our scouting team were out there getting the next Caicedo but we seem very limited still.
We need a DM with quick twitch speed to shield the defence because all of our midfielders are very one paced including Tonali besides maybe Willock who's quicker than he looks.
Does he have to have a quick twitch speed or will simply having a twitch but be able to pass quickly be sufficient
Just catching up on this thread. Liverpool burned shirts when they sold Torres, Suarez and Coutinho. They sold Sterling when he was hot and then he went on to win everything lots of times, Mane sale wasn't popular, even letting Wijnaldum go for free was something I think they'd have avoided if money wasn't an issue. Apart from those in recent year then yeah I can't think of any.
