This sounds like it would be a great signing, 6ft 7" and he's only 16!!. Most of our current strikers prefer the ball at their feet so we don't really have much of a threat in the air until Sonko/Collins come up for corners.

Obviously it's only early days yet and with premier league clubs interested I'm not sure how much hope we have...but who knows! Hopefully this is the first of many young players we are looking at.

With the way we always smash the ball straight up, having this big lad would be quite handy. If he's got a good heading ability and hold-up play then he could be very good.

Add to that he's 16, and we could have a star for the future. It will be interesting to see if it comes off.

Not interested if it means that we will be constantly lumping the ball forwards. Would prefer to find a ball playing midfielder who has the skill to unlock defences and keep the ball on the ground. The long ball game doesn't interest me, it's good to have the option but I don't want it to be our main style.

I completely agree about the longball game not interesting me either, but I would hope the build up play would still be a big part of our game but with the option of a cross into the box. Cresswell running down the flank and crossing the ball in to this guy could be a deadly combination!

I agree with you in the main Wright but at the moment it seems like it wouldn't matter who our strikers were if they don't get the service from midfield. We have enough decent strikers to score goals but lack the midfielders to make it happen. I know where my priorities lie, and it's not with bringing another striker in.

Very true, but snapping him up before the premier league clubs could be a very smart move for the future - even if we do just end up selling him for a ridiculous amount of money in a few years!
