The Mackems have effectively allowed their Saudi neighbours to vandalise their stadium. Absolutely ludicrous and the reaction has not been positive, to say the least!
Lego Head’s club have complained to the PGMOL that Saka gets fouled a lot. Absolute bunch of fannies.
Can you remember Cec Poynton running on the field with his bucket and sponge to take care of an injured player? The player would be running around after a couple of minutes. Today...............?
By the way.......why do players today play in carpet slippers instead of football boots. No wonder they get trodden on!
Probably trying to take a leaf out of Norbert`s book, and creating a false narrative so that the officials give them a free kick or penalty every time one of their players dives or falls over. I doubt Captain Scarlett will get the same traction from the media as Norbert did though, there was a week long Mouser campaign of hard luck stories and outpourings of grief after the offside goal in the Spurs match, and nobody has had a decision against Varpool since.
I believe Nemesis is planning a VAR extravaganza for when Spurs go to Anfield for the PL game (bookmark as you will) .
Martin Keown was heard bleating about Saka's treatment, keown was possibly one of the biggest thugs to play in the 80s when thugs got away with a whole lot more than today
Do you remember when they started introducing the light boots and there was a spate of metacarpal injuries? Don't hear of any of those now - wonder if the designs are now stronger than they were (and still look)?
It works. From now you watch how many bookings and fouls are given against Saka. It’s like when Klopp moaned after the Spurs game *Edit- didn’t see Billy’s comment before I posted the above.
well 2 things 1. everyone should have been behind Klopp on the absolute **** show of Var that day which has never been completely explained 2.How have Liverpool benefited from Var since compared to other teams
1. Any empathy with Kloop that day for one admittedly bad decision was lost by his ridiculous rant afterwards demanding a replay. 2. I think the previous comments were more about coaches making such a fuss that officials are put under pressure thereafter, influencing not only VAR decisions but also on field calls. It's only what Fergie did for years.
Klopp didn't demand a replay that is just media bullshit Klopp has still not learned to feed the media trolls so when asked about a replay he said something along the lines of " personally i would like one considering what happened but that will not happen " there was no demand or even expectation of a replay it is just a media / oppo fans narrative
