At the game and sat next to two Hammarby fans. Said they were delighted when MC left. They were sick of seeing negative football between defenders and goalie! They also said that under MC Hammarby attendances dropped.

Cardiff seem one of the worst teams I’ve witnessed at LR for ages. Still, they are beating us. This is really atrocious so far.
If they hated his football so much why did they pay a hideously over inflated price to watch it again in London?

I asked them the same question. They were staying locally and were given the tickets apparently. They were a nice couple and said they thought MC was a decent coach but his style of play was too negative.
Fair enough. Not seen enough to be definitive on MC yet. Seen a few games, especially Preston away, where the passing has been swift, accurate and positive. But today was like a waking nightmare, Begovic and Dunne in particular were painfully slow and ponderous, not helped by the entire midfield hiding for long periods.

Great to see you Woody! Shame about the result. Hope your dad wasn’t too disappointed. At least you got to see a goal, a rarity this season. Thought you might be the change of luck we needed. But our defending from corners today was shockingly bad.

This team/squad are clearing not good enough.
We need to gamble in order to stay up - flog Dykes, Willock and Chair, get a few hungry Swedes in that Marti can vouch for and hope that makes the difference. If not, they’ll have to get us up next year. Either way, those 3 will be off next year if we go down. Got nowt to lose now

Nice idea SimonS but who isvgoing to buy injury prone Willock or possibly hamstrung Chair in this window....no-one.

We have two possible sales...Dykes to a Scottish team ...he does score for Scotland

Armstrong...young and hungry.

I cannot see we can afford to sell Dunne as all the other CDs are injury prone...and Dunne appears to be foolhardy in the injury department if not completely unskilled

Who'd honestly be interested in any of our duffers ? Leeds were only side interested in Chair, but they are flying and have 3 wingers way better than him. They also have Gnonto who can't get a start !

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned, but at 1-1 we were in the ascendancy but he took Dixon-Bonner off for Adomah? With two of their defenders on yellow cards surely he should've put Armstrong on and running at their defence. I only think he bought Armstrong on because of an injury to Kolli who looked good. We had a good ten minute spell in the second half and then we lost all momentum.

I was surprised to see Adomah come on. Was MC looking for flair over brawn? To be fair, Uncs did skip past a few times but without effect.

Were Chair and Willock injured or on their way? I wonder if one or both of them could have unlocked a disciplined Cardiff side?

We need to get rid of the losing habit, and fast.

You too mate, both of you. We walked away mildly disappointed, but today, for us, was about revisiting our shared passion that had escaped us for some years for various reasons.

My dad was remembering his time watching QPR with his dad in the 40’s and beyond, how the ground looked, the players he used to watch. He grew up on the Wormholt estate, so we spent an hour or so walking around after the game, checked out his childhood home, him remembering and sharing memories of his youth.

A disappointing result, a dire first half, few positives to draw comfort from, Kolli perhaps the exception. 20 years ago, a performance like that, and a predicament like this would have dominated my world, but happily, it seems nowadays, I can enjoy the good times (the theoretical good times) and let the disappointments float on by.

MC's overall win rate is 46% but currently about 26%. Go figure.
