Targett would be a great move, can he play centre back? That would be a good loan swap for Holgate.

I feel we need a loan spot to replace Adams

Yeah it’s a tricky one. Sat where we are the aim has to be promotion, and could we sign a player in Jan who we would want to use next year aswell? Or will we do a Billy Sharp and sign someone to hopefully get us over the line.

The fact that Manning was supposedly the best in his position last year in the Champ and sticks out like a sore thumb, suggests that most of our squad is too good for the league, and having seen what they were like last year it’s an easy conclusion that there is a huge gulf between the Championship and PL (I’m sure most people knew that already)
