Brings back happy memories. Went to see a game in Gambia once when i was on holiday. Was a cup semi-final apparently. Game was crap but there was a gang of about 50 Swedish tour reps there dressed very much like that. Hardly watched any of the game and my mate had to nudge me to tell me the final whistle had blown. Final score was 0-0 but still went away with a smile on my face :)

St. Pauli have great support IMO. Love that chant, would love to hear it at toon games but that's doubtful.

have been to a fenerbahce--Galatasaray match back in 2005.............................I've never witnessed and atmosphere at a football match like this one , incredible

Dortmund fans are great to , home or away
 
Probably gonna get slated for this, but I've always admired the Germans for the atmosphere at their matches and their fans in general. Went to Berlin last year and was meant to go to the Hertha-Stuttgart match but the bastard hooligans decided the week before to have a riot and that game got made into a Season Ticket Holders only game so never got to go :( Gutted!

Not going to slate you.

I used to go to some of the Bundesliga matches a h=few years ago and it was great.

Drink and smoke in the stands if you like, great sausages during half time and overall the atmosphere was a lot of fun.

Get to St Pauli matches in Hamburg if you can. The team may not be great but the support is brilliant fun.

Which teams did you see? Heard good things about BVB, Frankfurt, St. Pauli and Köln so would love to see any of them really.

Would love to find time at some point to get to Hamburg, perhaps in the summer for pre-seasons but doubt the atmosphere in pre-season will do them justice?

I think with St Pauli you can go whenever. Proper mad club! One of the directors Box's had to be told to stop the strippers on the pole... While the match was on! Before, half time and after is fine!

THIS goes around the front of the VIP section (aswell as having individual beer taps PER SEAT!!)

I've been to Koln, Dortmund, Eintracht, Hamburg and St Pauli.

Also went to watch Aachen a while back and it was interesting... rubbish team in the lower league at the time and all that seemed to happen was the crowd met up to drink, sing and ignore the match :)

Seen videos of their fans, looks mental. Would love if Newcastle played pre-season there but it'd never happen :(

Were you over there with work at the time or just take holidays?
 
It was when I worked abroad. Aachen, Koln, Frankfurt and Dortmund were close enough to drive to and Hamburg was with work.

Used to also catch Anderlecht, FC Brussels and Ghent matches from time to time.
