    Friday 745pm kick off
Chance to put things right? Or more of the same. let’s hope Lewie is fit or delap is RB
Either way McLaughlin should come in and greaves to left back

delap is a centre forward! Play him there ffs

Coco the clown will be picking the team...so no chance of delap playing as centre forward

    I’m hoping for:

    Ingram

    Greaves
    McLaughlin
    Jones
    Coyle

    Morton
    Slater
    Traore

    Delap (in middle)

Then any 2 from Lokilo, Vaughan, Connolly on the wings.

This won’t happen though, of course.

    Connolly isn’t a wide player.

He isn't, but he can play that role, whereas Twine can't.
Rosenior needs to decide whether he wants to play Tufan, or Twine, or Traore as his starting 10. Not try to find a place for 2 of them meaning 1 plays out of position.

Connolly isn’t effective out wide, he can’t play there. Twine is better out there, as amply demonstrated in recent matches before yesterday’s.

    When?!

I mean, I want the guy to do well, but he doesn’t have the pace or try and take his man on enough to be a wide player. Hence why I’d try Connolly there. We could also try Connolly up front with Delap. It would mean Morton and either Tufan, Slater or Traore in the middle, two, instead of three. Risky, but the formation isn’t exactly working at home anyway!

The sole purpose of a wide player isn’t to take people on with pace - you seem to have a very limited view of wide players that bears no relation to the way City currently play.

We clearly disagree on what wide players should do then! I’d say they are limited if they aren’t able to take on a man.

I haven’t seen them play this season (I’ve managed to extricate myself from match day duties, so I can watch our games) but from what I’m hearing (and seeing with the results) they’re even more inconsistent than we are, although they seem to have been like that for the last few seasons. They very rarely draw but go on little runs of wins, followed by a run of defeats.
Taking all of that into account, I have absolutely no idea what will happen on Friday, other than that it’s unlikely to be a draw but still could be. So much for ITK eh!
