    I’ve said similar.

Although I don’t think anyone quite knows just what he’s trying to implement.

They don’t seem to have any style. Almost similar to us under Conte after his first 6 months, luckily for us we had Harry Kane, they’ve got the Poundland Haaland.

Why did that offside decision take so long?
It was obviously offside. When rashford passed it forward there weren't two defending players (keeper and another)

Tbh United should be winning this ... if they had an in form striker they'd have at least 4 by now

Nah they’re good, Diego doesn’t like good strikers anyway, it’s why he said on the Prem board he’d prefer Antonio over Kane. He probably loves Hojlund.

He said what?! <laugh> Antonio's mum wouldn't prefer him over Kane.

Yep, said it about a year ago. There was about four other bang average strikers in his comment too. His reasoning was that Kane wouldn’t have fit their system, the same Kane that has played in high press/ possession based/ defensive/ counter attacking systems and scored around 30 goals in all <laugh>.

He’s finally done it, only taken over a 1,000 minutes <laugh>

Could’ve waited another game or two mind. A draw would’ve been ideal for us.

Easier said than done but gotta capitalise on that result. A win at Brighton takes us on level points with Villa. Will be a tough game though.

That was vintage Unai Emery away from home. Start off well, go into a 2-0 lead, then try to defend it for the rest of the game (with no success). Pretty much what he did in most away games when he was Arsenal manager. It's their first defeat in ages, so he's got some leeway for now. Let's see if he's learned from his mistakes or whether this is just engrained in his identity as a manager.

SAF must have been let loose in the home dressing room at half time

I rarely venture onto the main PL board but I consider myself blessed to have been alive and present at the exact moment Diego stated that he would prefer any of Ivan Toney, Ollie Watkins, Aleksandr Mitrovic and Michail Antonio over Harry Kane.

Even Big Ern was at a total loss for words <laugh>

Having read the context I have to be fair to Diego and agree that he has a point.
Kane wouldn't fit into this Utd team. They're ****ing **** and he's not.
I assume that's what he means.

this. However, this is a typical game where we won’t capitalise on the results of others. Seen it so many times before. Let’s see if Ange’s Tottenham can do it.

united winning yesterday was actually a great result for us. We need the group at the top to stay as close together on points as possible, whilst forming a gap beneath us. - 8 points between us and United if we win tomorrow.
It also puts a lot of pressure on city to win their games in hand. If they do so, a bit of a safety net between the top 5 and the rest is going to appear.

And Icing on the cake too if West Ham can get a draw against Arsenal

I think I’d have preferred a draw last night but a Utd win was also decent - providing we get a result ourselves.

Brighton may be without Mitoma which could be huge but I think a lot will depend on us at the back with regards to Romero’s fitness. If he’s fit I think our chances of a positive result is decent, if we have to endure Dier/ Emerson at CB then I can see Brighton knocking a few past us.
