How can you be born into the wrong gender? If thats the case, why don't all gay guys just have sex change operations?

That is how she felt. Gays are not trapped in the wrong gender, they are attracted to the same gender. Transgenderism(if that is a word) is not a question of sexuality.

no, she's a woman...she was a guy...i used to be a brunette, then i went blonde, now my hair is practically black with pink bits...she used to be a man, now she's a woman, i love my new hair, she's comfy in her new body...see? not a biggie!
But how can you be trapped in the wrong gender. Everyone i know is proud to be their respective gender. My missus doesn't want to be a guy, i don't want to be a girl etc. What's wrong with these weirdo's? Just accept who you are.
That's different. If i dyed my hair, it would be me, just with different hair. If i cut my penis off, then thats a whole different story.
Actually I would say she was always a woman because that is how she felt. People generally don't have sex change operations because they fancy a change, they do it because of a deep seated belief that they are in fact the opposite sex.
you have no idea how unhappy transsexuals have been in the body they're born in. You have no idea how it feels to be a man trapped in a woman's body or vice versa. Thankfully now, sex changes are not unacceptable, and more and more very unhappy people are putting themselves right.
Actually the penis gets split in half to preserve the nerve endings and turned inside out as far as I am aware.
i know, i was overly simplifying it...i realise...not trivialising it in any way. i know 4 transexuals, i know what they've been through...i know where they've come from, and they're very very brave people.
But it's not right though, both morally or mentally. I want to be a footballer, but there's no magic operation to make that happen, so i'm stuck studying law. Thats basically what these freaks are thinking, "i wanna be something else, because my life is ****e" They should either get over it or kill themselves, waste of air for the rest of us, those who appreciate what genitals we've been given.
