Just seen the incident. It's a clear handball. The fact he might be slipping, even just a little, is incidental. It's a sodding penalty.

a good result considering we were palying 12 men as per.

that's an absolutely blatant deliberate hand ball and anyone on var who can't see thats clear and obvious needs sacking.

arteta can go **** himself if he ever complains about var again.

After that we actually offered no real threat again. possession yes. some positions but not many real chances.

trent missed a sitter to win it so only ourselves to blame. that's a horrendous miss.

and yes saka should also have been sent off (twice)
It was Coote - need I say more?

I think he's struggled with the pace and physicality of the PL but seems to be coming to terms with it now.

He even said as much that he struggled to start with. Think he got a lot of unfair stick. Came in as a last minute cover not to be first choice. He’s never gonna be prime fab but can see he’s good in a tackle and closes people down and is comfortable enough on the ball.

Thought him jones and Konate were our best 3 players today

I don't think he's fully used to the pace yet so I think he'll get better too

Saka. English therefore protected and minded. Should have been off today. Ridiculous

Odengaard moves hand to ball but var makes up an excuse that his hand is moving towards his body. Absolutely ridiculous.

So we get tsimikas with a broken collar bone and yet it's not a foul according to saka but nunez shouldered Evans exactly the same last weekend and gets a yellow cos Evan rolled about a bit then grinned after

VVD in trouble again; for the drinking gesture towards the referee this time
