a good result considering we were palying 12 men as per.

that's an absolutely blatant deliberate hand ball and anyone on var who can't see thats clear and obvious needs sacking.

arteta can go **** himself if he ever complains about var again.

After that we actually offered no real threat again. possession yes. some positions but not many real chances.

trent missed a sitter to win it so only ourselves to blame. that's a horrendous miss.

and yes saka should also have been sent off (twice)

Disappointing that didn’t take out chance from Trent. Would have been lovely break.

Have to say last 2 lesgue games klopps subs just not working. Difficult time of year and having played midweek had to make changes plus the injury to diaz.

But Salah was ineffective. Gravenberch did nothing. Nunez was alright beat defender couple times but didn’t really threaten.

Same happened v United. He went 442 and we lost control of the game for about 15 mins and let United off the hook.

Have to say that for all the talk of our brilliant strike force. They look really poor sometimes. Did against United. Salah other than his goal was shocking. Dribbling was poor. Diaz did nothing coming inside and losing it. Gakpo had tough game up top against 2 very good CB’s.

Szobos passing been really off last few weeks as well. Couple times just passed to no one and kept wanting to take a touch and shoot outside box like v West Ham but kept being closed down. Won’t get that much time and space all
the time.

positive

Konate brilliant again. Guy needs to stay injury free and will develop into a world class CB.

Jones was great pressing and winning ball back and drove forward couple times when had space.

Endo prob his best game. Thought was great with jones in winning the ball back.

Gomez didn’t dispppoint. Thought was gonna curl one in as well! Dealt with Saka well

I think it's based on the Salah, Bobby & Mane era still. Salah isn't what he was and the others still have something to prove, the attack hasn't earned that level of praise yet imo (they're all good and I like them all but they still have to prove themselves)

I feel he's more balanced than Robertson and he clearly has a fantastic work ethic. As I said, I know it's controversial, especially on this forum people love AR.

You're entitled to your inaccurate and incorrect opinion mate <ok>

Reports say Tsimikas has a broken collar bone, so out for 3 months

No reports about it unfortunately. They confirmed it during the game and klopp confirmed it afterwards as well.

Gomez time to cement a position at LB, need Bradley to step up and provide cover now though.

Robbo Kostas Matip all out from defence. Down to 4 senior defenders and 1 of those is also injury prone.

If we were thinking about a new CB, jan might be the time to get them

I'd prefer to put Gomez on the right and switch Trent to the left, it's not like TAA stays there so put Joe on his strongest side. Only negative is VVD being dragged left that bit more.
