- Cormac Roth was diagnosed with stage three germ cell cancer in November 2021- he shared the news in April
- He lost a lot of weight and 'half of his hearing' but vowed the disease would not take away his love of music
- The 25-year-old died on October 16 and his family announced the death in a statement on Monday afternoon

Well there's a name I think I recall for a cover of "Girl of my best friend". To be honest I had completely forgotten about him. A very old mate of mine had it - his father was in the Merchant Navy and brought a copy over to England. My mate amassed a great collection from over the pond in the late 50's/early '60s courtesy of his old man.
I was a big fan of Billy Fury who also had a touch of Elvis in his singing voice.
