To answer your question... I reckon he'll be sold for about 35mil, like with Carroll... which, coincidentally, is roughly 10 times the value of your entire squad <laugh>

Do you genuinely believe that Ba is worth £35 million or are you pulling my leg? (Sometimes its difficult to differentiate between a joke and being serious with a Newcastle supporter!)

Do you think Mike Ashley would consider selling Demba Ba if an appropriate bid comes in? Or worse still (from your point of view) do you think that Mike could be actively looking at the current assets and think that it might make sound business sense to sell whilst they are doing well so as to recoup the most money? I don't think it is any coincidence that they chose to officially rename your stadium when the club is doing well.

Cabaye looks asthough he might be worth a few quid too!

No, deadly serious. 35m seems a bit crazy for, statistically, the 3rd best goalscorer of 2011, but I get your point. We'll see by January, it could possibly go up to 50.

Cabaye is a whole different kettle of fish. I'm expecting man u to come in for him in January, probably roughly worth 40mil. Though United don't always spend that sort of money, so I could probably see City coming in for him, with another irresistible bid. I'd probably accept anything of 40+ to be honest. My personal preference for a replacement would be Gardner, you heard of him? Decent apparently.

Don't even get me started on Sammy. I've heard Barcelona are in talks, which is worrying =/

I can see us selling our entire squad for around 250mil to various clubs, mainly Liverpool of course. Dalglish still wants to be our manager but obviously he's not going to be welcomed back, so he's just trying to buy us out instead. We'll then buy your entire squad for around 10mil and Pardew will do a better job with them than your excuse of a manager.

In all seriousness, I don't see anyone coming in for the likes of Ba, Ben Arfa, Cabaye just yet. Not in January at least. Tiote will be the one to keep hold of this January, for sure.

Who said banned? Most of the people on this board are not very welcoming to toon fans, even if they are on for innocent reasons, for whatever reason. To name but a few Cestria, Psycho, Master simpson, RAW and I could go on. If sunderland fans come onto the newcastle board for innocent reasons there int anywhere near the level of abuse
