Both have been absolutely excellent all season. They give us the flexibility to play the diamond as much as the versatility of the midfielders. This is the case because of their energy and pace often finding themselves further up than any midfielder.

Both have excellent delivery, Fox's ability to whip in from the right with such accuracy is a great weapon and both can also spot a long pass into Lambert/Guly's feet for us to turn and swoop forward. In short....I think they've been outstanding and crucial to our form. Plus we have good back-ups on the bench to keep them honest.

Agreed, Richardson and Fox are top draw. How many times this season have we won games or equalised due to their crossing? As you say even the back ups are brilliant.

Couldn't agree more, Richardson is absolutely quality.

Richardson's cut back crosses on his left foot are generally better than the ones with his right, which he often overhits. But no complaints about him overall, he's been strong and useful to have another player who has been a captain in the past at former clubs.

In addition to these two top draw guys, we also have pretty damn good back up the form of Harding & Butterfield and then we have some good academy full backs too
    Its great being a Saint!

Both have done very well with very good backups in Harding (good start to season before injury) and Butterfield (played well whenever he played) keeping them on their toes

Richardson has improved no end, but I have a feeling we'll be in for young Nathaniel Clyne from Palace, meaning Butts will have to retire.

Richardson is actually a lot quicker than I originally thought. Fox rarely takes on the oppositions full backs but he doesn't need to as his crossing is different class.

Both were phenomenal yesterday. I had doubts over both when they first signed but Harding and Butterfield cannot get a looking right now (partly because of injuries, but mainly because of the form of the first two).

i think if harding had stayed fit he would be in the side, but injury cost him his place - richardson has just been preferred all season

I'm sure many people will disagree (and that's hardly surprising, considering how many players have played well this season), but Richardson has been my player of the season so far. Absoloutely outstanding in my book. And Fox, like Hooiveld and Cork, has come into the team and already looks right at home.

Certainly my favourite full-back pairing since the Dodd-Bridge days, and I'm tempted to even put this pair above them, I like them that much.

Agree with you 100% about Fraizer. Looks like the real deal, a complete full back. Pace, fitness, crossing, tackling, positional sense. This is the most balanced full back pairing we've had. All credit must go to Fraizer and Chappers for making our right hand side as dangerous as our left. Last season it was all a bit predictable as we'd always look left. Obviously it worked, but this season with quality down both flanks we really do look a different class.

Sorry but i have to disagree.
Fox is comfortable with the ball at his feet, Can whip a decent ball in and is unflappable under pressure.

Harding try's hard but doesn't come close. Back for the rest of this season at best i think.
